A professional Civil Celebrant requires a blend of life skills…
interpersonal, organizational, research, writing, presentation,
interview and listening skills…and to genuinely care about people
in the most significant and personal times of their lives.
I have completed Certificate IV Marriage Celebrancy and I am
a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants and
the Civil Marriage Celebrants Association of Victoria .
My working life has included the roles of Primary schoolteacher,
both full-time and as relief teacher, Personal Assistant in retail
management, writing workshops and freelance writing,
Community Care Worker's certificate (community counseling),
CAE trained Tour Guide, voluntary roles in schools and extended
involvement in aged care.
My family life includes the wonderful roles of wife, mother,
Granny, daughter, sister, and fortunately friend with many!
The varied people and experiences of my life have woven
to richly enhance my role as Civil Celebrant. |
